How do I install tcp/ip and an ethernet card

I have been given the unhappy responsibility of getting a not for profit organization online here in my community. I work for the ISP who is providing them Internet service and they have old PowerPC Macintosh 5200/75LC to make use of. I know they can be gotten online because I used one that has tcp/ip and an ethernet card already installed. However I have no idea how to do so. It's running OS 7.5 and they have no money to buy any new hardware unless it's given to them.

So on to my question....Not knowing much about MACs I'm at a loss.

How do I get tcp/ip installed and enable ethernet? I've installed Open Transport, that seems to have installed tcp/ip but how do I enable the ethernet card?

You will need a PDS ethernet card for that Mac. Ebay will have some, you could email gcscys@wwbchat.com and offer her $15 for one. When I volunteered at her charity

they were removing ethernet cards from Macs going to hospitals for use by patients, and she may still have some.

Most PDS ethernet cards do not need drivers.

MacOS 7.5.5 is available from Apple for free online, you download 7.5.3 and upgrade it to 7.5.5

On that note of free stuff, do you know of a free version of Claris Works?

I actually thought about loading Yellow Dog on it but the learning curve for the users would be tremendous.

Anyway, a link where I might find free apps like that would be great.

I found OS 7.5.3 for free but didnt see the full blown version of Claris in the same place, saw lots of updaters but not the full version.

Any ideas?
