Hi I need to install enterprise manager (7.0) on a client machine I've tried running sql70cst.bat which is suppost to be client tools only but I can't seem to find enterprise manager once installed.

What am I doing wrong?

cheers

Simon

If you attempt to install the 'standard edition' on a machine running W2000 or XP you dont get a choice - it will only install client tools (enterprise manager).

I tried this but it just installs the analasys stuff. No client things

I don't get it.

Hope you can help

Patrick

From the install disk, you will get the option to install Client or Server, select Client (I believe it actually says Client Tools). Then there will be a window where you can select which client tools. Make sure Enterprise Manager is selected. By the way, which version are you trying to load?

It is working perfectly. I got an error with installing but worked around it with this KB article from microsoft. KB 312995

Everybody thank you for you help

Have you been able to install the Client Tools yet?
