I recently installed Solaris 2.7 and accepted the defaults for file system sizes. I need to increase the /opt and /var file systems but I can't seem to figure it out. I was using the format -> partition command and selecting the partition id for my file system. I tried increasing from 25mb for /opt to 300mb and it seemed to take it but I can't seem to get it to stay.. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
