Hello,

Does anybody know a quick way to grab about 80 images from a folder and import them as separate layers of 1 photoshop document? All of the images have the same width and height. I am using Photoshop CS.

I am trying to come up with a quicker way to crop and then resize numerous images to 320pix X 320pix. Each photo needs to be manually cropped and everything else can be automated.

Under the File/Scripts menu I have found the "Export Layers to Files" function which helps me out a lot when I'm done, but I am trying to do the opposite of that function.

Thanks a lot for the help.

Okay I got the answer on my own. Using ImageReady CS, I chose File/Import/Folder as Frames. Ah ha!!

I hope this helps somebody else in a similar situation.

Create a contact sheet II under Automate>contact sheet II, and choose folder where your images are, leave layers selected, change how many images to a page, etc. and hit OK.
