How do I hunt a v/a/r/i/a/b/l/e/ property?

I'm trying to add some little functionality tweaks to an ACCPAC 6.5 (Visual FoxPro) installation. I've subclassed the form I'm working on, and written an enhanced version of the method I need, but when I run it, there are things it can't find and I don't know how to search for.

When I get the message "Property SL_ADDITM IS NOT FOUND", how do I search for .sl_AddItm, to properly qualify it?
This feels like sort of a newbie question, but I'm really stuck.
