How do I hide javascript

Mostly I am happy to share code, but I have a couple of things in an app I writing tha the client does not want public.

I have no problem putting it in an include file i.e.

<script src=&quot;filename.js&quot;> But that can be downloaded.

I have seen some sites where the include file can't be read. Any idea how to do that?

Put the Javascript file in a scripts virtual directory and take the read permission off it - make it executable only???? Mise Le Meas,

Thanks, I had that thought but hadn't tried it as I don't have direct access to the server. Will test on my development box
