Hi Everyone,

Currently the "How Do I?" help function on our MAS90 is not working. The scritp can't seem to find the file. We get the following Internet Explorer script error message:

The system can not find the file specified.

file:///M:/Program%20Files/Best/MAS%2090/Version4/MAS90/Help/awResults.htm

Can idea on how I can get this up and running?

Thanks
Sue

Could be one of three things.

1. Check the drive letter mapping. Open Windows Explorer and try to go to the drive letter M:\Program files.

2. Did you recently upgrade to IE 7.0? This WILL make it impossible to pull up the Help files. NO work around.

3. Did you recently install service pack 2 of Windows XP. This is known to cause issues.

I can drill down and see the files for your suggestion in #1.

I do have IE 7.0 but I also have XP with sp2...so is there a fix for number 3 so I can just narrow it down to IE 7.

Please note that this was recently sent out by Sage about IE 7.0 and MAS.

In MAS 90 and MAS 200 help files, the "How do I?" feature, and help files, may no longer work after installing Internet Explorer 7.0 on Windows XP or Windows Server 2003. A javascript error may also appear on screen or as a warning icon on the bottom left corner of the MAS 90 or MAS 200 business desktop.

To avoid this issue, either install Service Update 6 for MAS v4.10, or do not install Internet Explorer on any Windows XP Workstation or Windows Server 2003 operating system. Note that Beta versions of Internet Explorer 7.0 are not supported with any version of MAS 90 or MAS 200.

Thank you I will try it.

Did you have this issue and did it work for you? Just curious.

I did not upgrade to IE 7.0 or install Service Pack 2 so I never had the problem.
