The system is currently at 4.3.2 and we wish to migrate it to 4.3.3. Is this just a patch CD install_all or do we have to go the full gambit with all the Volumes?

The easiest way to do this is by inserting AIX 4.3.3 cd 1 and running a 'smitty update_all'. You do not have option to perform a migration. Make sure that you have a mksysb - I have done about 5 so far and I have had no problems.

Best of luck

Paul Sharpe-Deacon
HACMP Specialist

Firstly you will have to purchase the cd's from ibm and then do as what Paul has said do update and thats it also do regular backups of your systems i had to learn the hard way and thats no fun.

cheers
