hi

anyone here knows how to create a forum page using the coldfusion program? If u do, could u verify it step by step or know someone who has done it before or could even type out the cftags for this project..

thank u..

I would recommend using Allaire's own Forums product as it's now free along with the source code. Allaire contracted a third party to keep it available at although I currently show the site is down. If you're interested, I would try there and contact Allaire if the site's not back up soon.

Good luck,
GJ

simplemessageboard.com is also maintaining an "open source" forum in CFML

cfblah,

Try It's less than $200 US and is highly configurable with an admin section.

There's no way you can build a forum like this for less than $200. Takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to install and configure.

Allaire uses this on their site.

Enjoy
