Hi Everyone,

I am new to clarion. I am using 6.2 with the abc templates.

I have a browse procedure that has 3 listboxes. I placed a toolbar with navigation buttons on the mdi main window using the control template.

How do or what code do I need to include to make the navigation buttons in the toolbar to recognise any of my 3 listboxes after I click on any of them?

Thanks in advance.

Hi Emad-ud-deen,

Make sure that the 'Accept browse control from ToolBar' prompt in the Browse Properties/Actions is ENABLED for all these browses. Since the Toolbar buttons post Events, it will apply to the List Box in focus.

My advice is to ENABLE the VCR Controls in the ListBox properties for all these Browses (the VCR Buttons will appear at the Left Bottom or every browse) so that the user can use that to navigate. After all, it is much easier to move your mouse pointer to the bottom of the ListBox as compared to moving it to the ToolBar at the Top of the Application Frame.

Regards

Hi ShankarJ,

Thanks for the quick reply. I will try your suggestion on the vcr controls.
