how do i get rid of these pop ups that have taken over internety explr 1

I was searching threw serials.ws for some software and the next thing i knew my computer has pop up of porn all over the place putting an entire new tool bar on my internet explorer browser adding new links to my favorites and also adding shortcuts to my desktop. this has put i lookup as my default web page and every time i change it and delete all this crap out close explorer and open it again it changes to i lookup and opens about 10 other pages with it.. can someone help me ?

I disable Scripting(Active Scripting)from the IE,TOOLS,INTERNET OPTIONS,SECURITY,CUSTOM LEVEL.Then scroll down to SCRIPTING,disable ACTIVE SCRIPTING,OK,OK.Done.

I have not had a single pop-up since I made these changes,even when going to the Yahoo page,that bombards you with pop-up ads.Not a single ad!

Now,there could be issues with certain web sites that may force you to enable back to scripting.Just disable it after visiting that web site.I do a lot of surfing,and have never had to enable scripting again thus far.

I like this better than having software running background and eating up resources.Saves HD space too.Later.
