How do I get my ATI Rage IIC To use some of my 192Mb of system Ram As Well as It's own 4Mb Of Video Ram. The video card runs from an AGP Slot

I Don't think that is possible. I suggust buying a newer video card that has DDR ram.

You can't use your system memory for video ram, the hardware simply is not designed to do that.

You're probably just working with 2D applications I'm assuming. Are you able to get the resolution and color depth you want? If so, there's no need to upgrade to a video card with more ram. With 2D applications, to display a certain resultion and color depth, it takes a fixed amount of memory - in other words, don't upgrade thinking you'll get a faster system.

Well in essence the video card, when it resources (processor, and memory) are used up or tasked then it polls on the computers. So basically it already does.

But that is something people try to avoid because then you are overtasking your video card and your pros. & memory.
