Howdy Forum,

Let me start by saying I'm a rookie in charge of an Avaya Definity G3si v.12. Our switch is shared to support 2 companies within the same bldg. I'm looking to take over the 2nd companies extensions and get outgoing commercial service.

We currently have 2 ISDN lines and wanted to use existing block of numbers. We had extensions 8600-8799 assigned to another company within our building and now they're gone. So we want to use those numbers/service, but they disconnected their ISDN commercial service. Now that we're taking over their old office area, phones don't work but they shared our switch.

How can I get those extensions active again using our commercial ISDNs?

I know I'm missing information to help your informed decision (i.e., routing table, COR, etc), but I don't know what to show.

Any help is appreciated.

When you say, "phones don't work" are you saying you can't dial out on them? If the numbers mentioned were DID's(direct inward dial) you want to check if that range is still available from the provider.
