I'm using Photo-Paint 11 on Win2K. When I Export for Web, even if I type the .gif extension in lower case the file is saved with the extension in upper case. As my Web server is on AIX, I need to be able to control the case setting.

That's a legacy bug, unfortunately. I never use any of the "web" export features as I've not been happy with them. The old "File/Export" is no longer there in the file menu (the export for web is not the same), but if you do a CTRL-E you'll bring up the Export dialog box and it will export to a lowercase extension.
