How do I get address lists to view public folder contacts

I want to set up a public folder to hold all our organisation's contacts (external). Then I want to create different address lists to filter just the contacts I want a user to see.

I know this is possible to do for internal (exchange) recipients, but when I try to make an address list find contacts in a public folder it will not display any contact information.

Any clues ????

I think that you have to first go to the properties of the public contact folder and enable it to be used as an address book. You also have to set permissions on that folder for the users that you want to give access. Otherwise it comes up empty...
