I have a report with a grouping of Department - in the Group Footer I have put the Department totals and I have Grand Totals in the Report Footer.

I need to start each Department on a new page, so I set the Group Footer's Force New Page property to After Section. This seems to do the trick except that the Report Footer is on a page by itself (which makes sense because of the After Section thing). I would like the report footer to be on the same page as the last Department group.

Any suggestions

Try changing the ForceNewPage to BeforeSection on your GroupHeader, change the GroupFooter to None, and the ReportFooter to none......

Thanks CosmoKramer, but that didn't work. I need group totals at the end of each group and no blank page on the first page of my report. Any other suggestions?

Do you have ForceNewPage set for the Report Header? You shouldn't. All other sections should be set to "None". I only set the group header of the section I want to break on to "Before Section" and it works great for me, I don't get a blank page. The grand total follows immediately after the last group footer. Let me know if this helps.....

The only way I can get group information to show up on the first page, with the report header, is to set the group footer ForceNewPage property to After Selection. I have set all of the other ForceNewPage propertys to none.

I am using Access 2000, in case I didn't make that clear, and in case it makes a difference.

I really appreciate your help, by the way. Hopefully there is a solution to this.
