How do I get a list of approvers?

I have a folder with almost 400 folders and have to determine which ones have a certain approver listed so that I can remove that person. Everything I've found so far says that I can only determine approver if a document is pending approval. Has anyone come across this? I'm using Sharepoint 1.0. If I have to go through each folder and look at the properties, I'm gonna pull my hair out...
