Hi All,
I'm using Crystal Reports 10.

This question is probably funny, but I'm a bit puzzled. I deleted the "Page Header" and "Page Footer" sections from my report and I can't seem to be able to get them back. Using the section expert, I'm clicking on "Insert" but that only doubles whatever section is selected. How can I get the "Page Header/Footer" sections back?

Thanks.

JC

Is this by any chance a subreport? Because there are no page headers and footers in a subreport.

Boy, that was quick!

Yes, it is indeed a subreport. In fact, it's the one you suggested on my other thread. I guess I'm going to have to use the main report's Page Header/Footer sections.

Thanks.

You can create a page header in a subreport by creating a formula that is true for all records, as in:

{table.ID} > 0

Then insert a group on this and check "repeat group header on each page". Remove the group name and then use this faux group header as your page header. For page footers, using the main report page footer is a better bet.

Thanks LB. I acutally got away with the report header in the main report. Thanks for the tip though!
