Hi,

When I generate using a static sql query everything is working fine.
But when I generate using a dynamic parameter then how do I
dynamically assign some value for it.
I have tried to set the value as the "formName.textfieldName.text" but it does not work.

How do i go about this??

Regards,
Ramesh

I'm not sure how much help I can be here, but what are you using for your report? i.e. Crystal, Access, etc. Also, are you remembering to use single quotes on each side of a text value you pass in an SQL string? Just a thought...

Hi,

I am using the data environment.
And i have tried calling the command explicitly with the text fields value as argument but
I end up in the following error:

[ms access driver exception]
String data right truncated value(null)

Can anyone help me out? I am struggling with this for more than a week.

bye
