Hi, I have a combo box with values that I have entered myself. These values are linked to fields in a query. The values are sums of certain records in a table. Meaning the field names have been set to 'SumOf'followed by the original field name eg. 'SumOfAcrobat', 'SumOfOffice XP'. Is there a way of formatting the combo box to delete the word 'SumOf'and just diplay the original field name???

Cheers
Chris.

Have you tried to rename the field name in the query like:

Acrobat:SumOfAcrobat or OfficeXP:SumOfOffice

Hi ssatech. Thanks for your reply, however, I don't think I explained the problem properly.

Because the query is adding up the values of each field, I think I will have to deal with the field names being changed to having 'SumOf' preceeding them...

So, what I would like to do is format the way the data is displayed in the combo box (which contains values linking to the fields in the query) by removing the word SumOf (even though the actual data in the combo box include 'SumOf')

Does this make sense??

Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Cheers,
Chris.

Hello again. Sorry, that worked perfectly!

Thanks ssatech.
