The title pretty much says it all. I have a trunk group made up of 8 PRI circuits. It has a primary and a secondary D-channel specified. My 8 PRIs are coming into our building on 4 different DS-3 facilities and we need to take one of the DS-3s down for maintenance and it happens to be one that has our primary D-channel on it. Before we take the DS-3 down, I want to force the secondary D-channel on our trunk group to become primary. Is there a command to do that? Using latest version of Avaya Call Manager and ASA. Thanks.

You can busy the sig group and swap em there, but I think it's your carrier that ultimately decides which to use first, and I think it might just wind up being the first to establish staying active. Any particular reason you care?

I think you mean "I want to force the secondary D-channel on our trunk group to become" active. Just busy the primary and leave it that way. The secondary will become active and you can do your maintenance.
