I have a block of IP addresses assigned to my location from my ISP and I use a CISCO 1800 series router.

I need help in setting up the router to force all SMTP traffic from my Exchange server through a particular IP address.

For example: 1.2.3.4 is the primary static IP and my block is 5.6.7.8-10. I want to force traffic from my Exchange server on 192.168.0.x through IP 5.6.7.9.

I know there is a way to do it but everything I have tried so far has failed.

I'm sorry if this has already been discussed but all of the threads I have looked at to date have not given me the information I need for my specific scenario.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Surely the exchange server should have the SMTP routes configured to take care of this?

The Cisco routers may be designed for a more advanced configuration than this, but it sounds like you want simple port forwarding. This is a feature very common on 'home' routers where a port (SMTP:25) in this case from a particular IP always gets forwarded to a dedicated LAN IP. Not sure how to set this up in your devices as I am still a total novice to IOS.
