How do I flip rows and columns in excel? 1

I have a table that I'd like to make the rows columns and vice versa. I thought the pivot table did this, but I can't figure out how.

Pivot tables aren't for that. To switch rows of cells to columns or columns to rows, Select the cells that you want to switch. Click Copy. Select the upper-left cell of the paste area. (The paste area must be outside the copy area.)
On the Edit menu, click Paste Special. Select the Transpose check box.

Steps...

1) Highlight your table and Copy it.

2) Go to a separate sheet

3) Edit - Paste Special - Transpose
