How do I find whose address is attempting contact?

I found a resident program MESSENGER.exe that I can't open or view. There is also some generic Remote address 0.0.0.0 trying to communicate. How can I find out where this is originating?
 
Try this in your command prompt. Netstat -an
this will show you for example

prot local address foreign address State

TCP 208.13.138.123:1034 216.136.175.144:80 establish
