So you just need to type [tt]ping www.someserver.com[/tt] and the ping command should automatically resolve the host name to an IP address for you. In this case, the IP address for
and type in the IP address to get domain registrant and contact information. If it is under the umbrella of another registrar they will point you to it as well.
If you guys run linux too you can use the nslookup, dig, or host commands. One of them is being depreciated and I cant remember which. Hope this helps too!
