hello,

Could u tell me how to find out what software a particular website has used and also which is better to use??

Thanking u in advance!!

Software for what?? For graphics? For writing the code??

Some tools such as Frontpage, Dreamweaver and certain others will leave their mark in the code. But usually there's no way to tell unless the author has chosen to put something in the code.
For Images - no chance!

Can you be more specific in what you seek, maybe we can advise you better?

Email the webmaster and ask. Most will only be too happy to let you know.

or if you want to see what their web server is running you could try:

There's a "What's that site running?" box at the top.

Posting code? Wrap it with code tags: [ignore]
Code:
[/ignore][code]CodeHere
[ignore][/code][/ignore].
