Is there a way to see the hardware profiles in NT, just like how device manager shows them on Win2k or Win9x?
I'm not too familiar with NT. Help!
Thanks,
DM

No such thing as Device Manager as such.

There is "Devices" though, which allows you to enable/disable a device for different hardware profiles. Note you will need to know the name of the device driver... it isn't nicely laid out like 2K/XP.

The closest thing is

START
PROGRAMS
ADMINISTRATIVE TOOLS
WINDOWS NT DIAGNOSTICS

Now I see why NT sucks.
Thank you all for your replies. I was trying to determine what devices were installed on a machine before formatting it to Win2K.

Ummm NT diagnostics tells all that and more.

There's a utility on MS site which you can run to establish any compatibility issues with your hardware before upgrading to 2k (or there was when I did 2 and a half years ago! Can't find it today). It will list devices which 2k has not got drivers for/might cause a problem.
