I have an mp3 playing on my movie and I want to fade it out before the movie ends. I know this requires an actionscript on the sound tab but where do I insert the action on the timeline? I aready have a layer for the actions but the music will not fade when I insert a script on that layer. please explain. thanks

As long as it is a sound Object then you can change the volume at any point of the timeline using the setVolume command.
