I have always exported hours from MS Project to MS Access database, (that is, 'Assignment Remaining Work' or TD_Field_ID = 1). This happens automatically. How do I export cashflow information, i.e 'Assignment Actual Cost' or TD_Field_ID = 6). There does not appear to be any setting inside of Microsoft Project for this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

File | Save As
Select Access Database
Save the file.

using Access open the database
Table: MSP Assignments
Field: ASSN_ACWP (probably, your question isn't very clear).

Here's a better answer (i.e., it is closer to the answer you were probably looking for).

This is for P2002 Pro in an Enterprise environment. I no longer use any earlier versions.

Display "Analysis" toolbar
Click on Analyze Timescaled Data in Excel
Answer the wizard's questions.

This doesn't give you an Access database but it does give you the information you were attempting to access.

Hi PDQ,

You are right. My question was awefully expressed. What I meant to say (you guessed correctly) is the timephased data. Yes I could export to Excel. What I have settled for is to multiply the hours I get by the rate for corresponding resources in the database which will have to do for now. Thank you for your replies.

Regards

Popper.
