How do i export MySQL databases?

Hi everybody... i have a problem.. i changed my hosting provider.. and i want to keep my mysql databases.. i just tryed lot of things to export it.. when i export it i don't get all the tables.. and when i try to make a SQL import my PhpMyAdmin tells me it was succesful but i don't get any tables.. so can somebody help me what options should i choose when i export it and how should i do it..

If you have access to the server (other than the PHPAdmin), then simply copy the database files. Otherwise you can, for example, write a script that selects all entries in the tables, save the output, and then recreate the tables elsewhere and repopulate them with another script.
