How do I export event viewer logs?

If you are talking about exporting Windows Event Logs (Application, Security and System) then I suggest using LogParser 2.2
I import Win App and Sys event log nightly from my 75 servers. Then I parse them and send and XML email out with the more important ones I am looking for.
As for SQL Event Logs, I fire an OPENROWSET command to each of my SQL Servers to execute the master.dbo.sp_readerrorlog which populates a staging table with all the SQL Serve event logs from all 75 servers again.
Parsed and send out the email with needed info.
After my process is done, I move my work tables to and archive table so I can trend the events over time
