How does one go about erasing information that is found in the search engines?

What does it require? Anything special or could anyone do it?

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

TIA,

Ms. Swizzy

What are you looking to erase and from what engines?

You can add a robots.txt to tell engines not to index the content of your site, but if you are looking to remove information that is currently in a search engines index, you would either need to add the robots.txt and wait over time for each spider to find it or you would need to go through each engine one at a time.

For Google, see the following URL:

Hope this helps
