How do i enter values for XML Elements & Attributes ? [sadeyes]

Hello Friends,

Iam a newbee to XML. I learned how to manipulate XML file with XSLT or DOM or ect... But my question is, How can i enter the values for the XML which i want to manipulate. I do not face this problem if it is a small file. I use XMLSPY to do it. Incase it is a BIG file say like a entire Book content, then how can i enter values for my elements and attributes. Please do help me.
