We have an old XT switch, in which we are trying to equip a power supply card to support Analog phones with Message waiting light (like the ones in some Hotels). Does anyone know how to program such Cards and or the procedure to follow to enable such feature? Thanks in advance

Your analog card must equip with message light supported. For the programming (LD 10) change the class of service to LPA MWA HTA FNA.

You can install a power supply (qsu 22???)in each cabinet of your switch to supply the voltage for the lamps on your analog sets. Also, make sure the analog card says QPCXX M/W where XX is either 61 or 60 for analog sets. You must also insure that your software package includes the message waiting feature although I think that's part of the basic package. Now if you are using a console, you can program the mik/mck to turn the light on and off. I believe you must also have MWA on the class of service on the sets. Hope that helps as I am trying to recall this from memory. Take care.

Thanks guys, will try this on my switch.
