how do i embed an a1 font in illustrator 10 1

i am new to illustrator and i would like to know how to embed an adobe a1 font if anybody could help i would be really greatfull

Hi,
select your textblock with the pointer tool and go to Text>Create Outlines. Now you're text is no more a font but just vectors. Best thing is to save the file under another name so that yoou can edit your text later.
