I manage large data centers and am trying to build visual representations of our racks and systems using Visio 2003 and NetZoom 6. How do I drag multiple instances of a shape into my racks? (ex. I need to add 10 NetApp disk shelves to a single rack).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Why not just make a custom shape? Drag your 10 instances onto a page. positioning them appropriately. Then select them all, hit CTRL-G to group them then drag the grouped shape to your custom shape stencil (File|Shapes|My Shapes). Bingo - you have a new shape - just drag'n'drop like any other shape from any other stencil
