this is what I need to do: -

1.)create a welcome page (say on geocities) with user name and password. this should only allow people to proceed in with proper user name and password.

2.) And then kind of a common page, where everybody can note down their ideas, so that when other users come they can read and add/comment on it.

it just needs to be very simple. I have never done this bfore, so I would appreciate your help.
