I have a column called datetime when ran, the results look like this:

7/2/2001 8:50:34 AM
7/2/2001 9:14:49 AM

and so on.

How do I get just the date to be shown and the time excluded when the querry is run?

Thanks!

Format the column to short date, you can do this under the design view of the Query via properties. Right click on the field it will pop up a window. click properties then under format choose short date.

Did I mention that I am using access 2000? I tried your suggestion, however I did not see a selection for format. It just showed queries properties. Any suggestion?

I too am at a system with access2k installed. On the query in the design view. I move my mouse over the field I want to format in the grid, I right click on the mouse. A menu pops up. at the bottom there is a selection called properties. I left click my mouse on properties and now a new windpw opens called field properties. under the general tab 2 one in the list is format. select short date.
