How do I disable the "shared documents" option in SharePoint 2003?

Hi!

I am trying to disable/Remove the "Shared Documents" in SHAREPOINT 2003, option inside " Mysite" .
ie, when a user clicks on the "Mysite" link from share point portal server, I dont want them to have the option to share documents.

Also, When a user clicks on somoenes contact information , I dont want them to see these links:
1) Shared links
2) Recent searches.

How do I remove them?
