I have a Packard Bell with wireless keyboard. When I am in Excel and wish to use the F keys. I am taken to web pages presumably by some default set up by Packard Bell

Try looking at the hot key assignments for the keyboard in control panel. You should be able to change them from there.

I tried this but not the answer. Must be overwritten by the Packard Bell setup somewhere
