I would like to disable the pop-up messages that appear on the lower right of the screen ("Virus protection has been updated", etc.)generated by NAV 2005.

Thanks

I don't believe there is any way to disable this 2005 pop up. In newer versions of NAV, there are. BTW, I definitely recommend upgrading to a newer version if you have the operating system to support.

Thanks for your post.

I dont want to upgrade, the newer versions suck up a lot more system resources.

If you have a newer version maybe you can disable the pop-up and then export the reg keys. Maybe NAV2005 will look at these settings even though there is no GUI setting.

Thanks

OK so NO actually the 2005 does not have the ability to detect these settings.
But the NIS 2008 presuming you have Windows XP or VISTA and the system resources to install (512 to 1G available) is actually a lot more efficient about the way it uses resources.
