Hey all,

My General Manager just returned from a trip back to DC, and he was a little disturbed that the laptop I sent with him didn't work right. He couldn't access his webmail because someone has enabled Content Advisor. I don't know who did it (and probably never will) and I don't know how to erase the password. Does anyone know how to get rid of a password in Content Advisor?

Thanks,

Joe Brouillette

Sorry, it's Win95 (soon to be XP) and IE 5.5 w/SP1.

Thanks,

Joe Brouillette

Try this...

-click start, run, type in REGEDIT, click ok
-Click + in front of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, + in front of SOFTWARE, + in front of Microsoft, + in front of Windows, + in front of Current Version, + in front of Policies, Click Ratings, look to right
-Click line below Default, press delete, enter
-Leave default line only in right pane
-Close registry editor
-click start, find, files and folders, type "ratings.pol" in top line, C: in bottom, find now
-when this file is found, delete it....this'll remove password, and leave content advisor fully operable
