I have deleted the opaserv virus but am left with "index.dat file in the Temporary Internet file folder. It reinfects files and will not allow me to delete it in explorer. How can I deleted it?
Thanks

Try to delete it in safe mode or from DOS mode.

Index.DAT is the index file for the Fast File Searching option in the OS. You can delete it but it'll come back once the OS re-indexes the files for quick searches. AVChap
