how do i delete norton !!!!!!!

ok i dont like norton at all so since im with comcast i get mcaffe for free...and i cant delete norton it says its used by another program or whatever....and i didsabled my firewall but it said it was still up because norton had a firewall up or something like that help me please ....i NEED to delete norton
