Hi,

When I type the command "mailq", I get 311 mails in Queue. It looks like there is a lookup, the server is trying to send emails from a specific user over and over again. I went to /usr/spool/mail and deleted all the mails that this user had, but when I type "mailq" I still have the same amount of 311 mail in queue. Somebody, please help.

Mail Queue (311 requests)

Well, I 'll tell you guys what I did, in case somebody has the same problem. I don't know if it was good or not, but It worked (and I did not break something else) ;-)

I deleted the files located at /var/spool/mqueue/*, the queued files, I used rm -r and no more files were stucked in mail queue. I also checked /usr/spool/mqueue and there were not files stucked there either.

cd /usr/var/spool (just to make sure I am not standing on .)
rm -r /usr/var/spool/mqueue/*
