how do i delete a user account from the linux console?

i am currently running mandrake 7.2

i know that by typing "useradd -d /home/directory_name -m -s /bin/bash user_name" will add a new user. How can i delete an account?

also, how can I have a list compiled together of all the current users?

userdel [-r] username will delete that username. The -r makes the home directory disappear as well.

run more /etc/passwd to see all your users.
At least that´s what I use. Mandrake is perhaps the most good-looking of all distro´s. I´m sure you´ll find a nice-looking x-windows menu somewhere with all users listed. But real men don´t use that, do they /Sören
