How Do I Customize SAP Menus?

When a user logs in I would like to have only specific transaction codes available for them. Note: some transaction codes are custom and others are not. For example, I have a shipping clerk that uses 10 transactions total. I would like to have a simple menu with 2 major options with 5 transaction codes underneath each. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.

Note: The dynamic menu and/or report trees are a good backup but not the ideal.

you can solve this problem by maintaining it through area menus , you can design your own menu and assign a transaction code to it and set it as the default transaction code.
