How do I - Create Icons 1

I have a rudimentary icon program but I've never been able to come up with real quality output.

Is it possible to generate .ico files from photoshop 6

Any help with be appreciated.

You can save a bmp file then change the extension to ico, just make sure that the file is really small in pixels.

Hi,

That way will most often work but is not a very good method to get into the habbit of using.

You should get some kind of icon editor, they are really cheap these days, and then you can make cursors etc too.

I totally agree with SPIDERIX, get the right tool for the job, but if you are obstinate and simply must use PShop try
