How do I create an alias or alternate queue name ??

Solaris 8: I have print queues to HP printers via NT print servers. The company's system is to use the property number as the printer name, so the queue name ends up as something like "p486279".

I want to create alias names, or logical queues that point to real queues, or ?? so that I can also have meaningful user- and support-friendly queue names of my own choosing, in addition to the default name.
