Hi,
I am trying to configure a new faxserver on our system and after listing the Usage for the old one's extension i get the following:

Used By Type1 Key 1 Type 2 Key 2
Hunt Group Group Number 8 Group Ext
Mode Code Param VMS Hunt Group Ext

I haven't been able to find any credible information as to how to create this type of hunt group, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Joe

How is the fax server going to connect to the PBX? (Analog lines, PRI, SIP, ...)

In that case, you can just create a new hunt group, and set group type to "circ" or "ddc". Circ will rotate through the channels round-robin, whereas ddc will always choose the lowest-numbered channel available.

Then, on page 3, add the stations that are assigned to the ports connecting to the fax server.
(You will need to have those stations set up first.)

thank you for such a quick response... got it working now...
